I’ve become a serious volleyball player

I’ve done a bunch of different hobbies in the past.

At one time it happened to be drumming, then it changed to cycling road bikes with good pals in school. I got into beach volleyball when I was merely 25 years old and it stuck with me all the way up until now at the tender age of 54. My body doesn’t jump as high as it did in the past and I can’t hit as well anymore because of a torn rotator cuff I got roughly 8 years ago. I did not really know it at the time but that injury would forever change the way I played this game. I learned that after playing you need to become your own cooling professional, utilizing ice to remove any swelling of the joints. The body gets inflamed from overuse and cooling down the body with some kind of cooling appliance such as an ice bath is the most wonderful thing you can do for it. I’ve been playing for a good 30 years and discovered that I don’t need to take all of the pain medications if I learn the best methods of healing. I enjoy programming our smart thermostat to keep our room cool at night when it’s sizzling so I have a fantastic night of rest. My body does a good part of its healing and recovery when it is at rest during the night hours. I also have a pretty amazing heating unit for warming up my body before I play some ball. I also had to have our heating repaired in our beach dwelling because it seemed to be working relatively inefficiently. I have managed to learn a lot from several years of injuries I guess.
