When my wife went to this bed and breakfast in a place that seemed like the middle of nowhere, we were kind of creeped out.
- The building seemed incredibly old and didn’t really look like how it did in the pictures for the advertisement.
They had a special going on and said free massages would be included. The place didn’t seem like anything special though, and even the staff members at this place seemed like they didn’t want to be there. The temperature control settings were not very great. I immediately asked how we could adjust the temperature control in our room, but we were told there was only one setting for the whole building. It was just a central HVAC system with forced air. I wished they had something way better, like a zone control HVAC so that all the guests could have customized temperature control settings. Speaking of guests, there was hardly anybody there except for some older couple. They didn’t really talk to us, they just smiled whenever they saw us. The swimming pool could have been cleaner and when we finally went to get our massages, the guys doing the massages were totally creepy. My wife said she changed her mind and so we just went back to our rooms without a massage. We just watched some TV and tried to enjoy ourselves regardless of the awful temperature control settings. I didn’t think the place was terrible, but I certainly would not recommend the place to anybody else. There’s a reason why hardly anybody went to this bed and breakfast.
