I live in a colder climate, plus our oil furnace is pressing to our family’s comfort; It gets so cold where I live, that I respectfully have to run our oil furnace 24/7 during the coldest Wintertide months, which is why I was so frustrated to wake up one morning to guess our oil furnace blowing cold air, then my family instantaneously noticed how cold it was becoming in our house, wanting to keep them as comfortable as possible, I did what I regularly do when something breaks, plus turned to YouTube! The person in the video made it seem straight-forward enough: remove the defective part, plus replace it with the new part, then easy, right? I went to the hardware store to buy the part I needed, plus when I got back home the defective part came out with ease, plus the new piece fit in the way it was supposed to, however, when I went to turn our oil furnace back on, I was still getting cold air.
I did some diagnosis, such as checking our air filter plus the pilot light, however neither one of those was the problem, so I looked up some more YouTube videos & believed that I found the solution.
I went back to the hardware store and bought a new piece that I thought was the problem, but, unfortunately, it did not maintain our oil furnace! Feeling frustrated, plus our family chilly, I decided to call our heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman. He was able to come out swiftly plus identify the problem, however luckily the serviceman fixed our oil furnace swiftly, plus had our family feeling comfortable again in no time, then next time our oil furnace breaks, I will skip the YouTube plus go straight to a professional.
