Last winter, all of us planned to go on a skiing vacation.
However, our plans changed when Grandma called; she wanted to see her grandkids and other youngsters and wasn’t willing to listen to any excuses! Our parents knew she’d get hurt if they refused to honor his wishes.
So, they spoke to us, and all of us all agreed to go to Grandma’s new home for the holidays, but there were several things to change, including the flight tickets… The airline was overbooked, and so there was little they could do to change our tickets. This meant traveling to her new beach home via road, then we had a good 4 by 4, which would ride nicely in the snow and ice! Mom and I alternated driving until all of us got to Grandma’s locale. She was waiting eagerly for us with moderate cocoa and some marshmallows. We got settled and noticed an issue with the a/c. Though the AC system was on and warming the space, it wasn’t efficient. There were particular areas in the new home not receiving ample moderate air, then grandma explained that it had been going on for some time. Mom guessed there was something wrong with the HVAC system and contacted an AC servicing and service company near Grandma’s home. The AC service man arrived a few hours later, apologizing since they were short-staffed. He checked the system and noticed it had a filthy air filter that needed to be upgraded. Mom then asked the AC service man if there was a better air filter. The expert said he could install a HEPA filter which was easily the best for improved indoor air conditions. Mom agreed, and the AC service man upgraded the aging air filter with it.
