I didn’t suppose that much debris could come off the trees while in a windstorm.
Not only was I handling a lot of downed leaves and bits of tree branches, although I had all of these dead bugs and messy dirt. I thought that if I pressure washed the vinyl siding, it would make it look good again. I pulled the pressure washer out to use, when our partner stopped me. He told myself and others that if I were to handle the pressure washing poorly, I could injure our vinyl siding. I called our brother who worked for a dealer that cleans up vinyl siding. He gave to bring over the pressure washer the dealer used, and he would handle the pressure washing for me. When he was done with the vinyl siding, which needed a far lower setting than I would have used, he went onto pressure washing our deck and porch. By the time he was complete, he had done pressure washing for every surface of our home, except the roof. He pointed the pressure washer up to the roof and he told us that he wasn’t able to hit anything up there. Just hitting 1 of the roof tiles with low pressure, which was enough to pull the tile up. He recommended our best bet would be to call a pro roofer and have an inspection of the roof, and possibly put a current roof on our house. He did inform us that every one of us may possibly be able to get the homeowner’s insurance to spend their money on the bill, since it was from the storm that caused all the trouble in our area.
