I was about to embark on our first renovation project as an interior designer and the method was to transform the traditional modern home and give it a contemporary touch while still maintaining a traditional touch to it all… It was our first task as a professional interior designer and I would not want to disappoint our sibling-in-law who owned this house! All of us had earlier had a meeting with a heating worker to find out which whole modern home heating would be best suited weighing the pros and cons, the decision was between a ductless HVAC or a dual fuel system, but my sibling-in-law Theo had rejected an electric gas furnace because he wanted heating component that was more economical in terms of electricity consumption.
A central gas furnace was out of the question since the home already had central heating and Theo simply wanted something new. The heating dealership was also going to give a modern wireless control unit to go with the modern system and establish an HVAC service proposal that would be followed in the future! Having heating service would reduce the number of times you would need an HVAC repairman. I also really wanted to add a gas fireplace to help with indoor comfort and also to add to the ambiance in the dining room. I had run all our ideas through Theo and he had given me his vote of confidence and I was undoubtedly gleeful to see it all come together. It would not just be nice for our bank balance however it would be something I would add to our portfolio and use to market our skills.
