To me, winter is one of the most beautiful seasons.
I love the ambience that the holiday season creates, the extra time off of work that I get, and even the chilly feeling of the cold outside.
Even as a child, winter was a season that I absolutely adored. Getting to relax at home and enjoy the comfort of my bed or the holiday movies on TV made my entire life seem like a movie. However, as a child, there was one flaw with all of my winter holidays: my home didn’t have any sort of a good heating system at all. Having to endure a freezing room during the middle of winter without any heating at all felt like the pinnacle of discomfort to me as a child, and I would have to bundle up in blankets and drink warm cocoa just to warm up. Thankfully, as I grew older and moved out, I was able to experience living in places with better heating. This felt amazing to me, as I now live in a cold climate! Just recently, though, my heater seemed to stop working. I noticed that no matter how often I tried to adjust the temperature on my thermostat, I could only seem to feel the cold of winter seeping in from outside! I couldn’t stand the feeling, and made sure to give my HVAC provider a call. If I hadn’t done so, my entire winter would have been reduced to thick blankets instead of being able to enjoy the soothing warmth from a good heating unit!
