The air conditioning that I have in my apartment is mainly for controlling all of the humidity that creeps in here now that I have moved to the southern part of the country. I personally don’t mind the really high temperatures around here all that much. I don’t sweat all that much, and so the high temperatures don’t really bother me very much. However, I really hate the high humidity. Humidity is so gross and uncomfortable and I really hate it when the humidity levels are up. Unfortunately for me, I live and work where humidity levels are often super high. I wouldn’t mind the heat in the summer at all if it wasn’t for the humidity. Anyway, lot of people don’t realize that air conditioning actually helps to pull the humidity out of the air and it makes the indoor air quality in your home so much better. Honestly, I don’t think that ever even conditioning at all if it wasn’t for the humidity around here. I think that if I lived out in the desert somewhere, I wouldn’t use air conditioning. I know that there is no humidity there. I guess you could say that the air conditioning in my apartment is purely for humidity removal purposes and not so much for temperature control purposes. I know that a lot of people don’t feel that way, but I guess I am one of the rare people who love the heat and hate the humidity. I think that if there was a dehumidifier that would work super well, I would just use it instead of the air conditioning.
