All it really took was having the Heating & A/C company install a ductless heat pump for us to have an beach house that all of us could rent out.
- When all of us purchased this house, all of us were happy that there was a mostly finished basement.
This was a space all of us were going to take good advantage of. It could be guest quarters or maybe the game room I have wanted since our youth. But there is no Heating & A/C down there except for a single Heating & A/C air duct & it doesn’t cover much. So that space ended up being wasted with just storing stuff all of us didn’t use but weren’t able to section with. Then the pandemic hit & not working inside the zone controlled Heating & A/C of the office wasn’t the only change. Both of us had to take pay cuts just to keep our tasks & that led to some deep budget cuts. This is when it seemed love a rather perfect time to get some sixth hand furniture, decorate a bit & turn that finished basement into an apartment. The Heating & A/C company came to put in quality heating & air with the ductless heat pump they installed. I have to say that I wasn’t so sure that something so small could produce the sort of heating & cooling that the space required. Was I ever wrong. The ductless heat pump is awesome & it’s just so powerful. However, it’s also super efficient & isn’t costing us all that much more to provide all the quality heating & air that the new beach house needs.
