I have to work online for a couple of hours today and then I am having an HVAC tech come out to seal my leaking ductwork.
I guess the tape peeled off in some areas causing the air to leak from the ducts and cool my attic down instead of my living quarters.
I think it is an easy fix as the HVAC rep told me the guy will be able to finish it today. Once that is done then I am heading to the beach with my new cajon drum and practice a bit. I just bought it today, and probably shouldn’t have spent the money, but it sounds so good and I really want to learn how to play that style of drum. I want to make sure though that my HVAC system is working well because we are in the middle of summer right now and my power bills will be really high if I don’t get it fixed. I also have a slow water leak in my toilet and I think I will need to call the maintenance guy to come out and take a look at it. I think it is the flap that is leaking inside the tank, which should be an easy fix from what I’ve heard. I may need to get some duct cleaning done too because I noticed a lot of dust around the vents in each room telling me that the ductwork has a lot of dust buildup in it. I’ll ask the HVAC tech to take a look when he is here.
