In the future I will keep paying attention to the gas furnace a little more
My gas furnace has been acting very unusual as of late. The flame that comes out of the bottom of it has been rather high lately. This is not normal to have the blue flame of the gas furnace like this. Because the higher it goes it could get to be a hazard. Something may be wrong. So I turned off the gas furnace and called the local heating and air conditioning company for them to send out a certified heat and a/c specialist to have a look at my gas furnace to see what in the world is going on with it. When the certified heating and air conditioning specialist from the local heat and cooling company arrived to take a look, they found that there was a loose switch or something that I had no idea about. They said it somehow got turned up which was why the blue flame was getting higher and higher. They fixed it. I was told that if it kept going out of control like that it could have caused a fire and maybe even an explosion. So it was a good thing I decided to call the heating and air conditioning company about this and had them take a look at it. In the future I will keep paying attention to the gas furnace a little more. And if I see something like this happen again I will call the heating and air conditioning company a lot sooner to send a certified heat and a/c worker out right away to fix it again. That would be the best thing to do in my interest.
