I had an text from our electric contractor that said this coming holiday weekend they were giving a 50% discount on all energy used.
This was wonderful news because it has been entirely boiling lately plus this means that I crank our central heating plus a/c’s A/C entirely high without having to worry about it taking up tons of energy.
Sure I have a central heating plus cooling component with a wonderful seer rating, however it still costs a lot when I have to run the A/C twenty several hours a day plus several days a week. So this weekend I can save a nice amount because of the discount they are giving. I entirely have a portable A/C proposal that I sometimes use in place of the central heating plus a/c’s A/C. However it does not cool our space as nice as running the central A/C. So I do not have to even think about doing that for a few days over the holiday weekend coming up here. I wish that the electric contractor would just split the cost of running central heating plus a/cs all together. But that would not make them rich. So they of course will never do this. But at least they are giving pretty much everyone a split for the holiday weekend that is coming up. I can not complain about that! This is the first time this is happening. It would be real wonderful if they end up doing this on every single holiday. Who knows, maybe they will plus this is the beginning of a modern thing they are starting.
