I had an email from my electric company that said this coming holiday weekend they were giving a 50% discount on all energy used. This was fantastic news because it has been actually boiling lately and this means that I crank my central heating and air conditioner’s air conditioner actually high separate from having to worry about it taking up tons of energy. Sure I have a central heating and cooling unit with a fantastic seer rating, however it still costs a lot when I have to run the air conditioner twenty several hours a day and seven afternoons a week. So this weekend I can save a nice amount because of the discount they are giving. I actually have a portable air conditioner that I occasionally use in place of the central heating and air conditioner’s air conditioner. However it does not cool my space as nice as running the central air conditioning. So I do not have to even suppose about doing that for a few afternoons over the holiday weekend coming up here. I wish that the electric company would just split the cost of running central heating and air conditioners all together. But that would not make them rich. So they of course will never do this. But at least they are giving everyone a chop for the holiday weekend that is coming up. I can not complain about that! This is the first time this is happening. It would be real fantastic if they end up doing this on every single holiday. Who knows, maybe they will and this is the beginning of a current thing they are starting.
