I had an email from my electric business that said this coming holiday weekend they were giving a 50% discount on all energy used.
This was good news because it has been honestly tepid lately plus this means that I crank my central heating plus a/c’s A/C honestly high without having to worry about it taking up tons of energy.
Sure I have a central heating plus cooling component with a good seer rating, but it still costs a lot when I have to run the cooling system twenty four hours a day plus more than six afternoons a week. So this weekend I can save a nice amount because of the discount they are giving. I actually have a portable air conditioner program that I occasionally use in place of the central heating plus a/c’s A/C. However it does not cool my space as nice as running the central air conditioner. So I do not have to even suppose about doing that for a few afternoons over the holiday weekend coming up here. I wish that the electric business would just split the cost of running central heating plus a/cs all together. But that would not make them rich. So they of course will never do this. But at least they are giving all the people a chop for the holiday weekend that is coming up. I can not complain about that! This is the first time this is happening. It would be real good if they end up doing this on every single holiday. Who knows, maybe they will plus this is the start of a modern thing they are starting.
