Ended up renting an home that doesn’t have air conditioner

You would guess that by now, a/c systems would be official household appliances.

I didn’t honestly guess that landlords were not required to supply air conditioner.

I had to learn this the hard way with the home I decided to rent. I thought it would be good living on my own plus I honestly went for 1 of the first sites I looked at; Regrettably, it was during the Springtime season when I wasn’t even thinking about having to turn on the cooling system. When I finally got to a really hot afternoon, I went looking for the temperature control. I tried to turn the cooling plan on but nothing was happening. When I called the landlord, I asked him why the cooling plan wasn’t working. He said there was no cooling plan in the home plus he was not responsible for providing air conditioner. I had to look over my lease agreement plus sure enough, he was right. I was honestly disappointed that I didn’t look for a place that had an actual cooling system. I ended up having to get a cheap window a/c unit. It’s nothing costly, but at least it works to keep myself and others from feeling hot in my apartment. I easily can’t wait until my lease is up so I can find a good location with quality climate control. I guess it’s crazy that people guess it’s okay to rent homes to people that don’t have any air conditioner. I honestly will be leaving a drawback review for this home building, that’s for particular!
