My daughter bought a modern tree frog as a pet the other day when she went downtown to a reptile show; I knew that she was going to go to the reptile show with her friend, despite the fact that I didn’t provide her permission to buy anything.
She is someone who enjoys all kinds of critters & I feel I genuinely shouldn’t have been surprised when she came condo with a little tree frog, however the tree frog was easily cute, I will have to admit. I don’t easily like frogs, but this little girl was super cute… Anyway, I was a little bit aggravated when she showed up with this frog. I wasn’t super mad, though. I figured that it wouldn’t be too much of a concern because it could not possibly cost that much to feed this tiny frog, but then I found out that it was going to cost a lot to get a large cage & all of the weird things all of us needed for heating the cage. I had to get a heating mat, a heating rock, & this other little gas furnace thing that all of us had to attach to the inside of the cage… Not only that, despite the fact that I also had to buy a temperature control for the cage, too. I feel these little frogs are pretty hard to keep alive. I had no method that it was going to be so hard to keep a little frog alive or I would have told our daughter to take him right back to the reptile corporation that she bought him from!
