My kid bought a modern tree frog as a pet the other morning when he went downtown to a reptile show. I knew that he was going to go to the reptile show with his friend, but I didn’t supply his permission to buy anything, he is someone who enjoys all kinds of animals & I guess I absolutely shouldn’t have been surprised when he came beach lake house with a little tree frog, then the tree frog was absolutely cute, I will have to admit. I don’t absolutely prefer frogs, but this little guy was super cute… Anyway, I was a little bit frustrated when he showed up with this frog. I wasn’t super mad, though. I figured that it wouldn’t be too much of a problem because it could not possibly cost that much to feed this tiny frog. But then the two of us found out that it was going to cost a lot to get a large cage & all of the bizarre things the two of us needed for heating the cage. I had to get a heating mat, a heating rock, & this other little furnace thing that the two of us had to affix to the inside of the cage, then not only that, but I also had to buy a thermostat for the cage, too. I guess these little frogs are pretty hard to keep alive. I had no method that it was going to be so hard to keep a little frog alive or I would have told my kid to take him right back to the reptile dealer that he bought him from!
