Our realtor actually told us that my associate and I didn’t want to even look at the house that we now own.
My wife and I passed by on the street and inquired about the cost.
It was the low prices that piqued my interest. However, I recall sitting in the realtor’s office’s central air conditioning. She shook her head when my colleague and I told her this was an area of interest for us. Then she explained why my colleague and I were opposed to this arena. The reason the price was so low was that nearly everything inside had to be upgraded, from the heating and cooling system to the living room appliances. This arena had apparently been ensnared in some sort of epic estate court battle for decades. It was out of date to begin with and had been sitting for nearly 20 years. But my colleague and I were still curious and wanted to see it. The realtor stepped in and my colleague and I took a look. And my colleague and I fell completely in love with this arena and the property. My associate and I planned to make an offer the following afternoon. My friend and I were fortunate to be able to negotiate a price that was slightly lower than the initial low price. With the extra savings, my associate and I immediately ripped out the air duct and installed the most recent residential Heating and Air Conditioning. We decided to rip out all of the outdated appliances, flooring, and other changes my associate and I wanted to make right away. In fact, while the renovations were being completed, my associate and I lived in a camper. Fortunately, my associate and I had a space heater out there because my associate and I had just finished as the winter weather began.
