I recently discovered that the bar near our office usually holds Tuesday quiz night.
The winning team will usually get a round of drinks plus prepare the following week’s questions.
The first time I attended quiz night, I was part of my colleague’s team. I work at the local indoor comfort business as an air conditioner professional. I was not shocked to discover that most of my colleagues attended the quiz night. In my first appearance, the questions were about quality Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems plus just because we were skilled air conditioner workers. It did not automatically mean we’d know all the answers. The questions came with a twist; while some had clues plus many choices, the rest did not. I remember one of the questions: how often are AC filters replaced in the commercial air conditioner in a crowded open-air market? I thought the filters would get dirty plus plugged fast since the electric heat pump would be exposed to the elements. The official answer was not to have a system with air duct. This did not mean having a unit such as a ductless mini-split; instead, fans would be most effective in an open site. Another interesting question was, which was better; a Wi-Fi or a digital control unit? The cooling specialist team got that question properly. The questions also touched on air conditioner service plus what tasks a non-specialist can do. My pal and I tied with another group plus had to go for a hellfire question to cut the tie. The question was about the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C upgrade plus whether it affects the air quality within a space. Whoever got it right would automatically win. My pal and I did our cooling corporation proudly plus won plus appreciated our free drinks. The game also highlighted the need for air conditioner tune-up to help with indoor comfort.
