Being inside playing video games is all fun and games until the HVAC system stops working.
One minute I am sitting there as happy as can be and the next I am drenched in sweat. I had the air conditioning running and the window open for the extra breeze. The temperature in my room was absolutely perfect. I called the HVAC company to do their usual thing and fix it. I told them what was happening and how I noticed when the HVAC system stopped working. In the middle of my story he stopped to tell me that he knew what had happened. I did not even get to finish the story. He told me that the reason that the HVAC system had stopped working was because I had my window open. I thought that was absurd but it was really true. While it felt like there was a nice breeze coming in, there was also a lot of warm air coming in too. The warm air was filling my home and the cool air was escaping. This was causing the system to work extra hard. The system was not maintaining the temperature it was supposed to keep the house at. Since I left the window open, I broke my own HVAC system. It is really my own fault for why this had happened. Leaving the window open is no good idea. My system worked extra hard to keep my house cool and not I probably need to replace it. I may even need to replace some expensive parts within the system. My advice is to always keep windows and doors closed if you have air conditioning or heat running. You don’t want to me like me.
