Other homeowners would prefer a fireplace and better still a gas fireplace. Most HVAC contractors agree that these types of items are not used for the entire house rather for small spaces. My aunt asked me during the fall to help her negotiate a good price for the dual-fuel system. Aunt wanted hybrid heating because she lived in the outskirts of the city and gas and electricity were not as available as in the city. When you upgrade your unit, it is always beneficial to also check the programmable thermostat to provide efficient and effective heating and cooling service. Most HVAC techs will always advise their customers of this small but essential part of the system that provides us with comfort.
