It’s crazy to go from a professional pianist to an HVAC tech
He got his Heating, Ventilation & A/C certification and found that he was interested in everything having to do with heating & cooling technology.
My brother doesn’t mind being an Heating, Ventilation & A/C tech but he would be happier if he could make a living as a pianist. He had thought that he wanted to be a professional pianist and took lessons for years and years. Our parents used to know that he would really go on to music school after he finished up with high school, but then that ended up not happening at all. Different things happened in his life and my brother somehow ended up going to the local technical school so that he could get his Heating, Ventilation & A/C certification. It wasn’t something that my brother planned on doing, but he just so happened to be in the right locale at the right time and he wanted to get it done quickly. It sounds crazy to go from a professional pianist to an Heating, Ventilation & A/C contractor but my brother wanted to make sure that he had some kind of a trade to fall back on just in case his piano playing didn’t work out for him. He got his Heating, Ventilation & A/C certification and found that he was interested in everything having to do with heating & cooling technology. My brother ended up working at one of the local heating & cooling companies here in the village and he found that he liked his job. The fact that he has great dexterity with his fingers due to all of the piano playing has honestly been entirely helpful whenever my brother is working on furnaces and air conditioner systems. Now, he works on his Heating, Ventilation & A/C job during the month and goes out and plays at bars and anniversaries on the weekends. My brother believes it’s kind of like having the best of both worlds

Air Conditioning for all these pets
Boy, I really do live with a whole lot of pets. That’s true in a much different way now than it was when I was going to college. Those dudes were in fact pets. But these afternoons, I’m sharing our property with Max and a bunch of pets who need modern homes. My partner Max started bringing abandoned pets to the central a/c of our condo. And from there, the whole thing started. Max would begin finding modern homes for these pets he found and he was really great at it. I guess news spread far and wide because lots of people abruptly were looking to his for help with stray pets. There was only so many furry pets that we could handle living with us inside the central a/c of our home. I was all for doing whatever I could to support Max when it came to this modern passion. At the same time, I wasn’t prepared to fully sacrifice my Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment to all the pets. There was so much pet dander and fur in the air that it was literally clogging up the Heating plus Air Conditioning filter. It got so bad that I was decreasing those air filters on a regular basis. Not only was it difficult on the Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment however it wasn’t all that pleasant on myself and Max either. So my friend and I wound up putting on an addition to the garage where my friend and I could have all the pets stay. The local Heating plus Air Conditioning pro even came through for us with a ductless heat pump. It was really a recycled ductless heater that had come out of a recently renovated home. Now, it’s providing the heat and the cooling for a bunch of lovely pets.

When my friend and I purchased the house, it was the first time Sam and I had ever been homeowners. And since it was just us, Sam and I didn’t need very much room! Plus, my friend Sam and I didn’t have a very giant budget when it came to getting a condo either. So my friend and I have wanted this numerous room condo for almost a decade. My buddy and I upgraded the central a/c as 1 of our first moves. But then, Sam and I sort of did condo projects as my friend and I went along. Before too long, Sam and I had completely redone the site. And that is when it hit us that my friend and I really needed a new room. I’m working at the condo inside the central a/c from now on. This was a small change that became permanent once the pandemic hit. So 1 of the living rooms has now been turned into a condo office. Our living room really wasn’t really suited to our needs as much anymore. But when Sam and I first took a look at getting into a bigger site, Sam and I knew instantly that this wasn’t the right time in the real estate market to do that. So it made sense to add more value to our condo and room. My buddy and I got together with a contractor and figured out just the right sort of addition my friend and I were looking for. He was able to put in a giant master suite with another lavatory. My buddy and I also have a ductless heating pump in the master suite as the central a/c of the condo is rated just for that air volume. But Sam and I really like having the ductless heat pump as it provides great quality heating and air. And now, Sam and I just like having all the space my friend and I need.
How I met my HVAC husband
Whenever the story of how I met my husband comes up, I always laugh.
- It was such an awkward and funny situation.
It all started when I needed heating and cooling repair. The day was like any other, and the appointment was set at noon. I was actually having a party at the time. My future HVAC husband arrived on time, we exchanged pleasantries before he moved on to repairing the HVAC device. It was nothing special or interesting, yet. Before he left, my future husband asked if he could use the bathroom, I said yes and he left for nature’s call. The bathroom was positioned close to the middle of the house, directly in view of everyone partying. A few minutes passed and I figured he left by then. I had to go to the bathroom myself and so I grabbed the doorknob and swung it fully open. He was in fact, not done in the bathroom. Time slowed down and everyone became eerily silent. We locked eyes, and out of shock, I stood frozen, unable to close the door. Now my poor future husband had about 30 pairs of eyes staring at him while he was using the bathroom. I finally recovered and closed the door, and the A/C tech left very quickly afterwards. I felt so bad, especially after everyone quit laughing. A month or so later, I went on a blind date that my friend had set up, and I am sure you can guess who my date was. Yes, the HVAC professional who I accidentally embarrassed. We still remembered each other, and after we got past the initial embarrassment, we really hit it off and started dating. Years later, we were pronounced husband and wife.
My friend stayed over while her heating device was being repaired
Although I always imagined my friend and I would get to spend time together again, I didn’t imagine it would be this way.
It is funny how some things work out.
My friend and I have been planning to meet up for some time now, but it always seems like something gets in the way. Our last few meet ups have been canceled for one reason or another. However, a few days ago I got a call, and it was my friend. We talked for a few minutes before she asked if she could stay over. This was a shock, we hadn’t even seen each other in years, not to mention it was 10 pm at night. I had to think about it for a minute, but I figured why not, this would probably be one of the only times we get to see each other again without interruption. My friend arrived about an hour later and that is when I got the whole story. She told me that she needed a place to stay because her heating device was currently being repaired. Without the heating unit warming up her home, her home would have dropped to dangerously low temperatures. Although she could have stayed at a hotel for her heating needs, she thought staying at my place would be better, and it would give us time to catch up. I turned my heating machine all of the way up, handed her a blanket and also gave her a mug of hot cocoa. We shared stories and laughed, for a little while it was like we were kids again, and that we had never parted ways.
