I am an Heating and Air Conditioning worker, and as with many other professions, I am required to take annual continuing education classes to keep modern on the ever-changing technologies of heating, ventilation and cooling.

I recently completed a class on solar power, since I know that wash and sustainable energy sources are becoming more and more in demand, creating heat from the sunshine seems pretty blatant, although I learned that complete heating and a/cs can also be set up.

Solar modules are installed to power the building’s central heat and a/c. The solar-powered a/c is unique in that you can plug in the solar panels and start using the a/c immediately. This would be a hybrid of traditional and solar electrical usage in that the unit would run off solar power during the daytime and off the utility company at night, but with two or three solar panels, the resulting savings are incredible. Solar-assisted cooling systems use a thermal-chemical absorption to produce cool air. This process is similar to refrigeration except that there is no compressor involved. Heating systems, such as radiant-floor systems, are another system of heating that are able to convert to solar systems, however pipes that are embedded in the floor contain liquid that is heated using solar powered energy. Other heating and cooling systems, such as baseboard and portable units, are currently in the process of converting to solar-powered energy, all driven by the demand for economical and environmental solutions. By the time I finished the course, I was prepared to stand for the certification exam, which I passed. And since most states now require that Heating and Air Conditioning suppliers be certified in order to toil on current solar technologies, I feel like I’m already ahead of the game.

My girlfriend wanted me to take off the day from work so we could go to the beach.

The weather outside was really sizzling and there were no clouds in the sky. I wanted to go to the beach, but I knew my boss would be mad if I called 15 minutes before my shift. I had a couple of commercial boiler repairs that I needed to check on in the day, and I had a commercial boiler tune up in the afternoon. And would my boss give me additional work? My girlfriend had a plan. She did not give me a lot of details, but the plan was easy enough to follow. She was going to call my boss and tell him there was an emergency. I asked her for details, but she did not give me any. My boss called me around 10:15 in the day. She told me to come back to the office because there was an emergency at home. I left the boiler repair and went right to the house. My girl told my boss that she was in an accident. I did not like the fact she lied about an accident, but I had the rest of the afternoon off, and so went to the beach. The sun was shining all day, and the weather was fantastic. I would have been nervous if my girlfriend would have gone to the beach alone, instead of coming up with a fantastic way for both of us to cherish the day together!

I really wish that the warm weather we have had would just stay warm. Instead, we keep getting these roller coaster really cold days. It requires me to use my heating system even more than I was before. It takes a lot to heat the entire house to the same temperature when you have a central heating system. I do not have zone control heating which would help me a lot I am sure. I want to start to prepare for the hot weather, Right now I am using my thermostat to keep the heat running in the house. It can be so deceiving outside as well. When the sun is shining it looks like it is so warm outside, however that is not the case at all. You step outside into the sun and the bitter cold bites you good. My heating system has been working well so far. I hope that in the remaining time of this winter season I will not have any troubles, I would hate the winter season even more for sure. Thanks to my HVAC professionals at the local HVAC business, they help me to keep the heating system running even when I do not want to be running it at all. At least I can say that I am comfortable in my home thanks to them.

Being inside playing video games is all fun and games until the HVAC system stops working.

One minute I am sitting there as happy as can be and the next I am drenched in sweat. I had the air conditioning running and the window open for the extra breeze. The temperature in my room was absolutely perfect. I called the HVAC company to do their usual thing and fix it. I told them what was happening and how I noticed when the HVAC system stopped working. In the middle of my story he stopped to tell me that he knew what had happened. I did not even get to finish the story. He told me that the reason that the HVAC system had stopped working was because I had my window open. I thought that was absurd but it was really true. While it felt like there was a nice breeze coming in, there was also a lot of warm air coming in too. The warm air was filling my home and the cool air was escaping. This was causing the system to work extra hard. The system was not maintaining the temperature it was supposed to keep the house at. Since I left the window open, I broke my own HVAC system. It is really my own fault for why this had happened. Leaving the window open is no good idea. My system worked extra hard to keep my house cool and not I probably need to replace it. I may even need to replace some expensive parts within the system. My advice is to always keep windows and doors closed if you have air conditioning or heat running. You don’t want to me like me.
