Are you upgrading to the new stuff?

I also need to disinfect my old HEPA filter because I notice a lot of dust on my tables & furniture so it is time to wash off the little baby

I think they have voice typing out there but does it actually work? I would love to try it & see how fast I can speak compared to typing by hand. I actually believe I type about 60 words per hour but I’m sure I can speak triple that. I just went and bought a Wi-Fi smart temperature control which came with directions in Spanish. My current Spanish is so-so at best however I believe I will give it a shot & try to learn & figure out what they are saying. It’s a nice temperature control & has a super cool green screen on it that glows at night to illuminate the room in a mellow green light. I previously had an aged dial one that was finally ready for the dumpster because it wasn’t even turning on anymore by itself when I had it in auto mode. A new smart temperature control is cheap considering all that it does. I looked at the directions & shockingly I understood everything it said. I think my Spanish is not as bad as I thought it was, I just need to go and practice more on the street with the locals & not be such a coward. I also need to disinfect my old HEPA filter because I notice a lot of dust on my tables & furniture so it is time to wash off the little baby. It only takes a few hours & makes my life so much better once it’s finally done. I used to have the aged toss out filters however I didn’t love wasting so much so I finally changed to the washable HEPA filter.

The price of cryptos could be in for a big bull run for at least the next multiple months.

  • I would put at least a bit of cash in to see if I am right, then I’ve been following & charting them for years & thinking when a fantastic time is to enter a trade for the long term & now would be the time.

If you honestly need a new Heating & Air Conditioning system but don’t have the cash, maybe try dropping $1000 on Bitcoin or Ethereum for a year or 2 & you could buy a couple of them. I am an Heating & Air Conditioning specialist & have been for years but basically work online now because I got sleepy from doing all of the manual labor. It kind of messed up my back & knees from laboring for numerous years so now I do more online work & spare my body from any more pain. I really did a lot of a/c & heating installs over the years along with a lot of lake house painting jobs as I have a license in painting too. I absolutely got a roofing license but quit the professional field after only more than three months. Doing Heating & Air Conditioning repairs regularly & maintenance is nothing compared to kneeling down an asphalt roof in the most tepid times in the south. The heat would disinfect myself and others out the next morning so I had no leftover energy to work that morning. Installing Heating & Air Conditioning technology in houses is kind of cool work. You get to see the latest models & the newest designs.

Today is the Last Day of Carnaval in my Town

We have one more day of craziness here then we can all relax and take a deep breath, we survived Carnaval again! I’m watching cryptos and how they are outpacing the stock market now which is a good sign.

It seems that Bitcoin could break away from the stocks and go on its own parabolic rise.

This is all up to the crypto gods but I am holding steady and not selling a dime. I’ve rode Ethereum down to a $18,000 loss last week but didn’t sell and now I am back to even so I am pretty happy. I just turned on my electric furnace because my fingers are cold and they are good indicators of the temperature inside. We are technically still in winter for another three weeks then we can all thaw out our cold bones. I like to sit by my fireplace after I swim to warm up quickly as the flames emit a radiant heat that warms the skin much faster than warm air from the vents. I swam for 20 minutes today because the big church clock stopped at 10:30 which would have been 15 minutes for me, so as I looked at the clock I was staying in over my safe limit. I need to clean my HEPA filter again today because it has been about three months or so since I have even looked at it. I bet it is really dirty too because I”ve been sneezing a lot so that tells me it is riddled with dust. We will see.

I’ll Light a Fire in my Fireplace Tonight for Peace

I’m going to light a fire in my fireplace, instead of turning on the electric furnace, to send some loving energy to the people fighting the war.

I know that both sides are ready to stop as they realize how pointless it is to be fighting over something that amounts to nothing in their lives. I normally don’t use my fireplace because my cat gets scared when it sees flames but tonight is a special night. I could maybe leave the cat in the back bedroom since it spends a lot of time there anyways. It doesn’t mind the sound of the central heat and air unit when it kicks on but fire really freaks it out. Oh, and I just heard that Ebay is going to be accepting cryptos soon so there will be another boost for them in another week and a half. I could maybe buy that new portable space heater that I’ve been wanting for many months if the cryptos keep doing well. Ethereum is basically my bank account now since about 98% of my money is sitting in it. I have faith in them so I’m not really worried. I want to get a HEPA filter for my vacuum cleaner too because I notice a lot of dust coming out of the outlet of the machine and bet that a HEPA would catch all of that. I sneeze a lot when I am vacuuming and bet that it is from the dust that is flying through the air. I also need to check the filter in my central air conditioner as it has been a while.

I Need to Find Out What Just Happened with Bitcoin

It’s the last day of February 2022 and something crazy happened with Bitcoin.

I think it has something to do with the war and maybe Russian people are buying a bunch now because they are afraid of banks seizing their money. There was just 15,000 Bitcoin sold in a short time and the price is going crazy. Maybe I’ll get my new HVAC system sooner than I think if it keeps going up. We may be at the start of a several month bull run so please take a look if you still have time when you read this. I need to take a look at my ductwork and see if it needs to be cleaned because I am getting a lot of allergies when I come into my flat. I have a cat but I have never been allergic to cats and this is a small black cat that is always cleaning itself so I don’t think it is his fault. Maybe I need to install a HEPA filter and not keep throwing away these cheap filters that aren’t doing much in the first place. Wow, I just looked at Bitcoin and it was pumping then went down a bit and now it is pumping again. I’ve never seen it react so quickly like this. I may be able to put HEPA filters in all of my equipment in my house at this rate. I also want to do things for other people so a little extra money will help many more besides me. Maybe the war is over!

Do You Have Old or New HVAC Technology?

I know they have voice typing out there but does it really work well? I would like to try it and see how fast I can speak compared to typing by hand. I think I type about 60 words per minute but I’m sure I can speak triple that. I just bought a wifi smart thermostat which came with directions in Spanish. My Spanish is so-so at best but I think I will give it a shot and try to read them and figure out what they are saying. It’s a nice thermostat and has a cool blue screen on it that glows at night to illuminate the room in a mellow blue light. I had an old dial one that was finally ready for the dumpster because it wasn’t turning on anymore by itself when I had it in auto mode. A new smart thermostat is quite cheap considering all that it does. I looked at the directions and shockingly I understood almost everything it said. Air purifier helps with pet odors and dander

I have two dogs and three cats who live inside the house with me. I volunteer at an animal shelter and find it way too easy to bring animals home with me. Although I always plan to find them a good home elsewhere, I typically end up keeping them. While I adore my dogs and cats, they create a great deal of work and expense. There is the cost of veterinarian visits and food. I need to feed, walk, groom and clean up after my pets. It’s important to me that my home does not smell like a pet store. I am very conscientious about vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting and scrubbing all surfaces. I need to replace the air filters in the furnace, air conditioner and vacuum cleaner frequently. I worry about issues with indoor air quality due to the fur and dander floating around. I have enrolled in a maintenance plan with a local HVAC contractor that includes comprehensive service of the heating system in the fall and air conditioner in the spring. A technician completes thorough cleaning, testing, adjustment and troubleshooting to maximize equipment efficiency and capacity. I’ve also invested into a whole-house air purifier. The air purifier is installed into the duct system and filters out contaminants as the air passes through. It’s capable of trapping allergens smaller than a grain of salt. It also works to kill 99% of pathogens. It actively sends out positive and negative ions that disrupt the DNA of harmful bacteria and viruses, rendering them harmless. It further causes pollutants to clump together, become heavy and fall out of the breathing air. The air purifier helps the house to smell better, stay cleaner and feel more comfortable.

Having trouble changing AC air filter

My job is time-consuming, demanding and stressful.

When my team is working on a project, we often put in overtime hours and find it necessary to work weekends.

I can go several weeks without getting a day off. When I finally get a free day, I really want to relax and enjoy it. However, there is always a long list of household tasks waiting for me. This past Saturday was my first day off in almost three weeks. I was determined to get an early start and complete my various chores around the house as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, I slept through my alarm. By the time I got up, the dog had peed on the floor. After cleaning up the mess, I headed outside to mow the lawn and trim the shrubs. I discovered that the lawn mower was out of gas and then managed to cut the extension cord with the trimmer and get stung by a bee. I decided to turn my attention to the air conditioner. I was hoping to take the system apart and perform some necessary maintenance. I figured a good way to start was a filter change. Because I had no replacement filters available, I drove to the local hardware store. Unfortunately, I had no idea what size or type of filter I needed. I took a guess, bought an air filter, returned home and saw that it didn’t fit. The second trip to the hardware store, I remembered to bring the filter along with me. The store was out of the type of filter I required. I then drove around to three different stores before finding what I needed. By the time I got home and installed the filter, I was too frustrated to tackle air conditioner maintenance. Instead, I hired a licensed HVAC contractor to take care of it for me. I chose to sit on my porch and drink a beer.

Dehumidifier makes a big improvement

When my husband and I moved south, we were just happy to get away from the snow and cold. We were delighted to trade our winter boots for sandals. We threw away our snow shovels, ice scrapers and wool coats and bought sunglasses, sun block and shorts. We were looking forward to sunshine and blue skies. The house we purchased was equipped with central air conditioning, but the unit was quite old. We made the move in the early spring and the ancient cooling system had no trouble keeping up with demand. As the summer season brought temperatures into the high eighties and even nineties, the house felt overheated and sticky. Lowering the thermostat didn’t provide much relief. The air conditioner ran all the time but failed to satisfy. We had trouble sleeping at night, and there were problems with condensate running down the windows. We finally decided to invest into a new air conditioner. We spent a great deal of money on a high-efficiency cooling system with all sorts of extra features. While the new unit managed to bring the indoor temperature down, the house still felt muggy. When I complained to the HVAC contractor who installed the air conditioner, he explained that the humidity was the problem. Air conditioners are designed to pull heat out of the air. They aren’t capable of handling excessive moisture. The contractor suggested the installation of a whole-home dehumidifier. I was a little reluctant to spend even more money, but finally went ahead with it. The improvement was immediate and significant. The air conditioner no longer needs to run as often, work as hard or use as much energy. The house is way more comfortable and feels cooler at higher temperature settings.
