Over the last three weeks, I have observed that my weekly bills are through the roof.
I suppose something is causing this inflation however am not sure exactly which electrical appliance is the culprit.
So I decided to contact an electrician to assess the situation for me. He established that the culprit was none other than my electric furnace. A year ago, I substituted my oil furnace with my current equipment and had never experienced such silly energy use. The last time was about 2 years back, which was also the first time, but when he further assessed the gas furnace he discovered that the furnace filter was so dirty that barely any air was able to pass through. I had also not changed the filter since the equipment was installed. I mean I was in a horrible state, even if it had been a quality Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system about 2 years back. The heating company started work on the system, and he and his team thoroughly cleaned the unit. I l acquired that this equipment also had heating technology savor numerous current Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipments in the market. This technology, I found out, would alert me in case of any issue or any component needing boiler repair. I also had to substitute my control unit. I got a good deal from the heating and cooling provider. The serviceman explained that not doing repair on the unit, central heater, was causing the equipment to strain and not function on its capacity, therefore, using up too much energy.
