Rushing past the home HVAC vents, I turned back and looked down at it. I was shocked since there was hair, dirt and lint all over it! I sought out a vacuum cleaner and started removing as much of the dirt and hair. But, even after all of that was gone, I couldn’t shake the thought that if the AC was that way on the outside, what was it like on the inside? I sought out different ways of cleaning the inside, and that is when I came to know about duct cleanings. It became apparent that an HVAC duct can become so dirty on the inside, and it is absolutely a must to have an air conditioner professional come out and clean them a few times a year. I was happy with that information and called a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business to schedule my appointment. Thankfully the AC company wasn’t busy, and they could have the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman out the next day! The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional did arrive on time, and he had to labor close to 3 hours to completely get rid of everything. I was joyful when it was over, and knew that all of that dust and hair was cleaned away. My home was cleaner plus my air. I will definitely have to make sure to get HVAC duct scrubbing every so often to avert this from taking place again. The incident also got me contemplating other tactics I can use to keep my home clean. I read about how filthy your indoor air could be and opted to get a whole home media air cleaner to purify the air tool. I am still on a mission for my home to be entirely clean, and when it is, I will relax.
