I also did not forget to tell him to get all of the essentials, bowls, scratching post, litter box etc. The day he brought the house cat to his condo, I told him he should confine it to one area, so that the house cat can get used to its new home. My buddy took all of my advice, and after a week, he told me the house cat was adapting well and wasn’t as shy as when he first got it. One of the final pieces of advice I almost delayed to tell him was to ensure he gets more cooling system filters, which sounded strange, but I told him that he wouldn’t know how much pet hair house cats can produce. The hair from the house cat was fantastic for clogging up air conditioner filters so it was best if he buys a whole box of air conditioner filters to last. I think my buddy did not believe me much at first, until he owned the house cat for six months, and it hit him just how much they can shed. He proceeded to do as I proposed and bought a box of HVAC filters from a nearby heating plus air conditioner dealer. I was right about that because I have 3 cats and I have to change my HEPA filters on a biweekly basis.
