Last winter, we planned to go on a skiing getaway.
However, our plans changed when Grandma called, and she wanted to see her grandkids plus wasn’t willing to listen to any excuses…
And our parents knew she’d get hurt if they refused to honor her wishes. So, they spoke to us, plus we all agreed to go to Grandma’s cabin for the holidays. There were several things to change, including the flight tickets. The airline was overbooked, plus so there was little they could do to change our tickets. This meant traveling to her apartment via road. The people I was with and I had a great 4 by 4, which would ride nicely in the snow plus ice; Dad plus I alternated driving until we got to Grandma’s place. She was waiting eagerly for us with warm cocoa plus some marshmallows. The people I was with and I got settled plus observed an issue with the air conditioning. Though the A/C system was on plus warming the space, it wasn’t efficient. There were particular areas in the cabin not receiving ample hot air, but grandma explained that it had been going on for some time. Dad guessed there was something wrong with the HVAC system plus contacted an A/C servicing plus repair company near Grandma’s home. The A/C repair woman arrived a few hours later, apologizing since they were short-staffed. She evaluated the system plus observed it had a filthy air filter that needed to be replaced. Dad asked the A/C repair woman if there was a better air filter. The expert said she could install a HEPA filter which was the best for improved indoor air pollen levels. Dad agreed, plus the A/C repair woman replaced the aging air filter with it.
