We had two weeks to find a house and settle before my wife started her new job.
It was an excellent position, and I was so happy for her.
But it meant relocating from our current home to a new locale. Her bosses had put her in charge of the new office in that area. She didn’t have time to plan the move since the promotion was a last-minute decision. We did our best to scout a good property and were lucky to get connected with a reputable realtor. Finally, she showed us a house we liked and completed the transaction before moving all our things. Hiring a professional moving team was the best idea since we didn’t have to stress packing and unpacking. I was in charge of figuring out the air conditioning in the new house as my wife began her work. I got in touch with an AC business near our new home to get a quotation. They sent over an AC technician who gave me the breakdown, and I opted to work with them. Two days later, an AC supplier delivered our new air conditioner to the house, and the AC technician began installing it. One thing he had to do was fetch a concrete slab to place in our backyard. I came to learn because outdoor HVACs were heavy, they tended to sink into the ground after some time. The slab would prevent that from taking place.
