My fiance and I have been searching for the perfect house, however it has been a easily difficult work; I want a location in the country with a large backyard, however my fiance instead wants to be close to the city, the only locations the two of us can afford are smaller than the two of us want or they need a lot of repairs…
However, some weeks ago, my fiance and I went to look at a cute cottage right outside of the city.
It only had 2 bedrooms, however it had a particular floor plan that included a den. I knew the two of us would have plenty of room in the apartment and area to grow. The location looked great on the outside, however inside was a completely strange story. I could tell that the kitchen sink was broken and the garbage disposal didn’t do its job either. I told my loving fiance that the two of us needed to get a supplier to look at the location and provide us an estimate for all of the repair work. The supplier went to look at the location a couple of afternoons later and he provided us with a full report, with one of the biggest problems being the heat pump. The supplier advocated replacing the heat pump and the A/C unit together. I knew that was an immense expense and a significant amount of work; when I heard some of the plumbing problems as well, I knew that the apartment needed too many large repairs. I would have settled for a couple of problems with the sink or even replacing the heat pump, however those 2 problems were just the tip of the huge iceberg. Our search for the perfect property will continue.
