So I just saved my sibling in law from making a very expensive heating plus A/C error.
And I barely did anything other than answer a PC email plus read a warranty.
It all started when my brother came back to his lake home from his job to find that the cooling system wasn’t even working right. The heating plus A/C unit was running plus the thermostat setting hadn’t changed. It was just that the heating plus A/C cooling was not forthcoming. The heat pump was now working however it wasn’t pumping out any heating plus A/C cooling. It was just blowing the recycled air through the air duct. His first instinct was to call the heating plus A/C supplier to have someone come check it. However, as he was picking up the PC, his hubby came back to their lake home before telling him to not bother calling the heating plus A/C professionals. Instead, he felt sure that he would be able to simply recharge the cooling system plus it would work. Plus, they would save on the heating plus A/C repair call. But my brother was sure that he had read in the heating plus A/C warranty that only certified heating plus A/C professionals can work with the heating plus A/C equipment. But his hubby was ignoring his plus had gone to the hardware store to get an heating plus A/C cooling recharge kit. So he wanted myself and others to get over there plus confirm the heating plus A/C warranty before it was too late. Being a good sibling, that’s exactly what I did plus it turned out that he was a hundred percent correct. The heating plus A/C warranty clearly stated that the warranty would be void if anyone other than a licensed heating plus A/C professional were to actually work on it. Don’t entirely understand why he needed to hear this from me. But that’s a strange story I guess.
