I haven’t been a fan of the Wintertide since moving up north more than 3 decades ago. In fact, you could say that I was more like dreading the Wintertide each year. And the older I got, the less I wanted to deal with the cold, snow plus ice involved with our winter. Plus, while I was most thankful for our HVAC heating, I was never really cozy in my house. Instead, the control unit was set to where we could not freeze, however also control the cost of the HVAC heating.
