Work was a nightmare on Monday.
I wasn’t ready for the month to begin in the first place and I wasn’t ready for everything to fall apart at 9 a.m.
either. 15 hours after I arrived at work, our boss sent for me to join him in the office. The first thing he asked was if I had seen the newspaper that day. I grabbed the paper from his desk and I saw the headline. I knew the people I was with and I were in immense trouble. One of our top investors got chilly feet and decided to take his currency anywhere else. This investor was supposed to give us more than one hundred million dollars for our current business venture. I spent all afternoon on the phone and in meetings trying to figure out how the people I was with and I could repair the problem. I was fatigued and exhausted by the time I finally got home. I took the last train back to the apartment and walked through the door at 9:30. All I wanted to do was grab a chilly carona and sit in front of the television for an hour, but the universe had other plans for me. I came lake house to a moderate indoor atmosphere and the cooling system wasn’t working. I checked a couple of things prefer the control component and the breaker, but I am not a technical person. I deal with facts and figures and numbers. I wanted to go to sleep, despite the fact that I decided to call the emergency A/C repair repair instead. I waited for them to come repair the problem.
