This cold snap came truly out of nowhere, didn’t it? I don’t suppose if it was a polar vortex, or just a weird high pressure system, but the temps dropped by thirty degrees in the space of several minutes, but we lost a lot of plants outside, because every one of us didn’t see the cold weather coming, however ordinarily, every one of us don’t worry about the cold too much around here, but when it hits, it truly hits hard, then the weather lady on cable says every one of us have a whole week of this to look forward to, lots of ice plus sleet, but no snow… I enjoy to get an annual Heating plus Air Conditioning inspection plus tuneup before the heavy weather arrives, although I was caught flat footed this time. I am not too sad about it, because I do have some back up gas heating systems I can use if need be, and like I said, I just would have been more comfortable with the orange light from our trusted Heating plus Air Conditioning tech, however since I have been a client for years I am hoping to book one after this cold snap, although I suppose at that point heating inspections will be in high demand. I have more than two space heaters, one for each of the kitchens, so even if there is a oil furnace issue every one of us will be fine. They say system hard plus fight easy, well I can attest that it is really tplot when it comes to your heating during the winter.
