This was the first time all of us heard about radiant barriers that we’d install in the dwelling’s attic. Radiant barriers would reduce summer time heat in the dwelling, thus lowering the cooling expenses. These barriers were made using effective material that would block the tepid sun rays and keep our dwelling a great deal cooler. Adding the radiant barriers wasn’t cheap, but all of us knew this was an investment worth making for lower cooling costs.
