Larry had run away from home as a teen after his abusive father almost hit him with an ax. Larry’s dad had always been a troubled man, and he took out his frustrations on his family. His mom was always on the receiving end of the abuse, and finally, Larry had enough. He stood up for his mom when he was 13, and his dad took an ax to attack him. Larry had to run for his life and never looked back. He worked, went to school, and lived in a shelter until he got a wonderful foster family, which changed his life. Eventually, he went to university and started a great life for himself after graduation. His first house was a charming little place where he had to upgrade himself and hire an HVAC technician to install a central HVAC system. His foster dad, who later gave Larry his last name, helped him save up the down payment for his house. The area he lived in got hot summers and frigid winters, meaning Larry needed the best central cooling and heating unit. Last winter, he arrived home late in the evening after a long day at work to find his HVAC system making an annoying noise. Larry wasn’t sure why the HVAC system was making that noise and didn’t want to try and fix it himself. He was quite handy with other things, but he left the HVAC system to the experts. It sounded like there was something loose inside the indoor unit making a clunking noise. Larry opted to turn off the HVAC system and use a space heater until the next morning when the HVAC technician came to fix the issue.
