I just finally got a smart thermostat.
I am a bit late to the game as everyone and their mothers have had a smart thermostat for years now, but I just decided to finally get with the times.
You see my central heating and air conditioning system had broken down and I had to buy a brand new and up to date central heat and a/c unit. And with this central heat and a/c unit came a smart thermostat. I could have kept my old dial thermostat to run the brand new central heating and air conditioning system and all its features. However, I decided to just replace the thermostat and start fresh. Learning how to use the app that controls the smart thermostat was quite challenging at first. But once the local heat and a/c company gave me an instruction manual to go with it, I was getting along pretty well in learning all the great things that a smart thermostat can do. Including programing the smart thermostat to go on and off at certain times and whether to use the central heating or the central air conditioning when it is programmed to come on. I eventually within a month worked it all out and I was using my smart thermostat to all its advantages as if I had known the smart thermostat for years like many friends of mine had. I do not know what took me so long to get on board with the HVAC technology of a smart thermostat, but I am very happy that I finally did!
