The other day at the heating and cooling system corporation I worked for we had a truly unexpected day, and it was a light work day! There were only a few heat and cooling system repair jobs I had to go out on. The rest of the day I was able to just hang around the HVAC office and more or less get paid to just hang out with the other heating and cooling workers and relax. These types of days do not happen truly often. Maybe once every year if we’re lucky! But working for a major heating and cooling system corporation like I do, you get the benefit of being paid even if you are not out on a job. Being an independent heating and cooling system corporation these things would not happen. If you did not have work and were not out either repairing a central heating and cooling system program or installing a brand new central heat and cooling system unit, you would not be making any money at all. This is why I ended up deciding to work for a heat and cooling system corporation instead of going into my own heating and cooling system corporation when I got out of HVAC school. I knew how it worked. When these light labor days entirely happen believe me, I appreciate it! I just consider this one of the several benefits of being part of a team and section of a corporation rather than one entity corporation owner. I go to work, get paid to do the job or to just be there on call and all is well.
