The other afternoon at the heating and air conditioner company I work for we had an entirely unexpected afternoon, and it was a light task afternoon! There were only a few heat and air conditioner repair tasks I had to go out on, but the rest of the afternoon I was able to just hang around the HVAC office and more or less get paid to just hang out with the other heating and cooling workers and relax! These days do not happen entirely often. Maybe once every year if we’re blessed, but entirely working for a major heating and air conditioner company like I do, you get the benefit of being paid even if you are not out on a task. Being an independent heating and air conditioner business these things would not happen. If you did not have a job and were not out either repairing a central heating and air conditioner idea or installing a brand new central heat and air conditioner unit, you would not be making any money at all. This is why I ended up deciding to work for a heat and air conditioner company instead of going into my own heating and air conditioner business when I got out of HVAC college. I knew how it worked. When these light work days entirely happen believe me, I like it! I just consider this one of the several benefits of being part of a team and part of a company rather than one entity business owner. I go to work, get paid to do the task or to just be there on call and all is well.
