If you are just scanning down the page looking for something interesting, let me hit you with the long story short version – there wasa vicious family of raccoons in our HVAC ducts, & it turned into a war between us.
In general I appreciate critters, although we don’t have any pets because my fiance is allergic to pet dander.
A few weeks ago we noticed that his flu symptoms were getting worse, as if there was an critter here when there wasn’t. Soon after we heard the noises in the attic, as raccoons moved through our upper HVAC ducts. It was dangerous on various levels, mostly because they were contaminating our indoor air pollen levels with their disgusting fur & mites. Both of us switched off the central Heating & A/C idea to halt the air circulation, & started making some iPhone calls. Both of us would need an Heating & A/C tech to inspect our entire idea & make sure that it was cleaned & decontaminated. That would have to wait, of course, because no Heating & A/C labor could be done until the critters were all detachd. I had no method how hard it was to find critter removal services, & someone willing to pull so various possibly raestimate critters from my HVAC ducts. I had no advantage with local businesses, & ended up posting an ad on Craigslist asking for someone to detach raccoons from my HVAC duct, and one of the various responses I got was from a man who was also an Heating & A/C tech for a local business. He offered to detach the creatures & inspect the Heating & A/C idea in a single visit.
