I began weight training when I was around 10 or 11 years old.
I know it’s quite young but my dad was really into it then and my older brother so I had pressure on me at maybe eight years old to start pumping iron.
I really didn’t get interested in it until I got beat up a few times because I was skinny and weak. Then it became a mission to get big and strong. I could bench 315 lbs when I was still a teenager so it did its job. I didn’t get beat up after that. I remember being 14 years old and being a personal trainer and coach for my friends to workout, and I was quite good at getting them to do it. I always enjoyed getting people to dig deep and bring out the best in themselves. I’m needing my own services with fitness coaching since my shoulders have been in pain. I am pushing myself to get them fixed so I can be in top form again, I know I can do it. I just need to keep the intention in my thoughts and it will naturally happen. It doesn’t take a certified fitness expert to get you to do more good things for your body and mind, just listen to your heart and it will guide you to take action in the right direction to improve your life. Small steps will move you very quickly in the direction of your wishes if you just have a little discipline and patience. You deserve it!
