I finally decided it was worth the expense to update to zone control. The energy savings are helping to reclaim the cost really hastily. The home is now far more comfortable, and there’s less wear and tear on the gas furnace and cooling system. I prefer the convenience of having a series of smart temperature controls that are accessible through an app on our PC. No matter where I happen to be, I can easily cater the temperature setting in particular rooms to requirements. I have set up programs that avoid heating or cooling the study rooms until we’re headed to bed at evening. Family members are able to customize the temperature in their room to personal preference.
