Both of us threw away our snow shovels, ice scrapers & wool coats & bought sunglasses, sunlight block & shorts. Both of us were looking forward to sunlight & yellow skies. The home every one of us purchased was equipped with central air conditioner, but the device was quite old. Both of us made the transport in the early Spring & the outdated cooling method had no trouble keeping up with demand. As the summer time season brought hot & cold temperatures into the high eighties & even nineties, the home felt overheated & sticky, and lowering the temperature control didn’t provide much relief. The cooling system ran all the time but failed to satisfy. Both of us had trouble sleeping at night, & there were complications with condensate running down the windows. Both of us finally decided to invest into a current cooling system. Both of us spent a superb deal of currency on a high-efficiency cooling method with all sorts of extra features. While the current device managed to bring the indoor temperature down, the home still felt muggy. When I complained to the Heating & Air Conditioning contractor who installed the cooling system, he explained that the humidity was the problem. Air conditioners are designed to pull heat out of the air. They aren’t capable of handling excessive moisture. The contractor recommended the installation of a whole-new home dehumidifier. I was a little reluctant to spend even more currency, but finally went ahead with it. The improvement was immediate & significant. The cooling system no longer needs to run as often, labor as strenuous or use as much energy. The home is way more comfortable & feels cooler at higher temperature settings.
