The condition of the heating and a/c system was not what I expected

When I first bought a home, I really should have had the Heating and Air Conditioning plan checked! The home inspector did a good job and was able to give me all the information I needed about the house.

Basically, the home was in great condition, the roof was only 10 years old and was in good shape.

He did recommend me to reach out to an Heating and Air Conditioning expert, but I just assumed that everything would be just fine because the Heating and Air Conditioning plan did work when we checked it out, well, during first fall season, I had an Heating and Air Conditioning expert come out to tune up the gas furnace. He gave me some bad news at that time, that even if the plan was tuned up, it looked like it was going to struggle pretty badly through the winter. He advocated that I have a new heating plan installed, and while I was at it, I might as well hook up an energy efficient cooling plan as well, and I didn’t have a lot of money left over after investing in a new house, so I felt like I was stuck. I got a quote for a new installation and it looked genuinely undoable. I now had to figure out if I wanted to take my chances with the old Heating and Air Conditioning getting through the winter, or go with something else, and fortunately, my friends had my back. They told me about ductless mini splits that are DIY and how every one of us could install it all for a fraction of the cost. I was tired of doing this, but I was desperate, but surprisingly, it wasn’t too hard to install, and abruptly I was covered through the winter with perfect heating and I can’t wait to see how well it does next summer.
