In recent days, I have been finding it difficult to find good work, and I have been going to interview after interview and shockingly, I wasn’t hearing back from anybody.
I think it was because everybody had enough workers and I just wasn’t needed, but one of the last places I went to was horrible though! As soon as I stepped in the lobby, the place was freezing cold.
It was in the middle of the winter and I wondered if their heating plan was even working. I noticed the guy at the front desk was using a portable heating system just to keep warm. I asked him if the heating system plan had problems for a long time, and he told me their boss said it would be fixed, however the heating system plan in the building was having problems for over a week, then when I spoke with the interviewer, I had to ask if the heating system would ever be repaired in the building. He shrugged and said he wasn’t sure about that as there was some sort of issue getting the professionals to come out to work on the furnace. That sounded odd to me, because why would any Heating and Air Conditioning professionals pass up on the option to maintain a commercial Heating and Air Conditioning at a building of this size? That would be a big loss on their end and why didn’t this supplier choose to opt for the services of another Heating and Air Conditioning dealer. They called me, however when I asked about their heater, they said it still wasn’t fixed. I thought that would be a problem, so I refused to take the job. Happily, I had a bunch of other companies call me up to offer me a job, and I took the job with the best pay.
