In recent days, I have been looking hard to find a great job.I have been going to interview after interview and shockingly, I wasn’t hearing back from anybody.
I suppose it was because everybody had enough workers and I just wasn’t needed, but one of the last arenas I went to was horrible though, and as soon as I stepped in the lobby, the area was cold. It was in the middle of the winter and I wondered if their oil furnace was even certainly working. I observed the guy at the front desk was using a portable heating system just to keep warm. I asked him if the heating system had problems for a long while, and he told me their boss said it would be fixed, however the heating system in the building was having trouble for over a week. When I spoke with the interviewer, I had to ask if the heating system system would ever be repaired in the building. He shrugged and said he wasn’t sure about that as there was some sort of issue getting the professionals to come out to work on the furnace. That sounded weird to me, because why would any heating and a/c professionals pass up on the opportunity to maintain a commercial HVAC at a building of this size? That would be business lost on their end and why didn’t this company choose to opt for the services of another Heating and A/C company. They called me back, but when I asked about their heater, they said it still wasn’t fixed. I thought that would be a problem, so I refused to take the job. Thankfully, I had a bunch of other companies call me up to offer me a job, and I took the job with the best pay.
