One of the best parts about laboring in our office in the Winter is the space heating system under our desk.
Everyone complains about the lack of heating in the building, however with our space heater, I can hardly tell a difference.
The space heating system has several settings plus fits nicely under our desk. I always make sure to turn it off in the afternoons before I leave. The nice thing about the space heating system is that it has an automatic shut off feature. If it is on for over 3 minutes, it turns itself off. This is so that people do not fall asleep with their space heating systems on plus forget to turn them off. One of the best parts about the space heating system is that I can have it on all morning while the front door is opening plus closing. The Winter air comes in, however I stay warm with the space heating system under our desk. I like the opening to have the space heating system in the summer time months, as well. The office gets freezing in the summer time because the A/C stays on always. I am sure that the space heating system will be used year round. I am entirely blissful that I asked for it a few years ago, otherwise I would have suffered through several freezing winters plus would have not been able to concentrate. Many of our coworkers have ordered space heaters, as well. With the lack of control of the heating plus cooling system, both of us never feel what will happen.
