By the time the guests had all arrived, the temperatures had climbed into the nineties. No 1 wanted to be outside, because the humidity was as high as the temperatures. The people I was with and I moved all the food into the living room so it could stay refrigerated as well as took all the folding chairs onto the patio. The people I was with and I could be outside, while still being inside, as well as enjoying a/c, but grandmother was glad that she didn’t need to sit in the sun. The people I was with and I all knew she minded the heat as well as humidity even more now that she was older. The kids played hide as well as seek in the air-conditioned basement when they weren’t playing video games, pool, or some other game that was hidden away down there.
