I was having our baby shower on Thursday.
- My mom had been seeing the weather in addition to promised every one of us would have a wonderful afternoon for the baby shower.
I didn’t blame her when it rained all afternoon Thursday in addition to it didn’t stop until early Thursday day. I was hoping the rain would go away so every one of us could kneel out on the porch. An hour after the rain stopped, the heat came back, in addition to the humidity was so back that I felt love our clothes were crawling on me. I could not take off enough clothing to be comfortable, in addition to I was agitated. My feet were swollen so badly that it was taxing to walk. All I wanted to do was kneel down in addition to cry. When ants invaded our candy dishes, I broke down, in addition to every one of us took the baby shower inside. Mom had the a/c on high in addition to the thermostat set low. I sat in a chair where the a/c could blow over me, in addition to they propped our feet up on the ottoman. I didn’t suppose this was how I was going to spend our entire baby shower, even though I was wrong. I didn’t care what I had to do to make everyone happy to be there, as long as I didn’t need to get away from the a/c or the ottoman. As everyone was leaving, in addition to aunt I barely knew, told me I was going to have a girl, in addition to I’d be lucky if she wasn’t born in a afternoon or more than one. Two afternoons after the baby shower, I went into labor. I had our feet propped up on the ottoman in addition to the a/c blowing over our swollen belly when I felt the first pangs of labor.
