Why I chose Heating, Ventilation and A/C work over university

Although I did particularly well in high university, it was not something I enjoyed… Due to my natural intelligence & ability to get along with people, my teachers all started pushing myself and others into applying for university.

They told myself and others that to entirely succeed in life I would need a university degree. They were trying to be encouraging & supportive, but they absolutely pushed myself and others towards doing something that I had no interest in doing. The truth is that when I looked at the facts & figures, I realized that a university degree is no longer a wise investment, then a much smarter transport was to become Heating, Ventilation and A/C certified, & start making a superb salary while avoiding all that nasty student loan debt. Having a degree from an esteemed university is all about status, & I knew that with an Heating, Ventilation and A/C certification I could make more currency in my work than with a costly degree. I didn’t need status, I needed stability, & by some simple market research I saw that the Heating, Ventilation and A/C industry had been growing steadily for decades & showed no signs of slowing down. If I was going to learn a trade it needed to be in a grown industry appreciate Heating, Ventilation and A/C, because that would almost guarantee future task opportunities. I have heard from friends & relatives that I was “too smart” to go into Heating, Ventilation and A/C work, & that I should be going to university. I regularly tell them that being smart was why I chose not to go to university! Heating, Ventilation and A/C work was the smart option for me, they will realize that a single morning.
